Construction cost tracking without double counting
How much has a project cost, and how much cash has actually been paid? These are different questions. Useful financial tracking keeps the distinction visible and links records to the collaborator, phase and work they concern.
Separate four financial views
A budget records the forecast. An agreement records the commitment to a collaborator. Certification concerns work that has been checked. A payment records an actual cash transfer. One amount should not become new cost again whenever its stage changes.
An advance payment is a payment within an agreement. It does not by itself establish that corresponding work has been completed or certified. Keeping these stages separate makes balances easier to interpret.
Connect money to the project workflow
ERGAKTO organizes financial information around the same project as tasks, quotes and procurement. Linking a record to a phase and collaborator helps explain where it came from and which agreement it concerns.
Net value, VAT, currency and payments need distinct fields. Comparing quotes also requires checking what each quote includes and which records have been confirmed rather than treating incomplete figures as directly equivalent.
Ask questions with sources
For supported questions, Ask ERGAKTO helps find information in the selected shared project. Financial totals are calculated from available database records and accompanied by sources. Results depend on record completeness and the user’s permitted access.
The application does not execute bank payments or replace accounting and tax review. A responsible person must check AI suggestions and financial entries before relying on them. Ask ERGAKTO remains a pilot feature.
